Give me a kiss to build a dream onLouis Armstrong, Give Me A Kiss To Build A Dream On (Off his album Very Best Of)
Give me a kiss before you leave me
And my imagination will feed my hungry heart
Leave me one thing before we part
A kiss to build a dream on
When I'm alone with my fancies...Ill be with you
Weaving romances...making believe they're true
Give me your lips for just a moment
And my imagination will make that moment live
Give me what you alone can give
A kiss to build a dream on
(instrumental break)
When Im alone with my fancies...Ill be with you
Weaving romances...making believe they're true
Give me a kiss to build a dream on
And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss
Ah sweetheart, I ask no more than this
A kiss to build a dream on

My sister. The first memory that I have of my sister is when I was eight years old. One of the advantages of having eight years of age difference is that I remember--pretty well anyway--the few minutes after that she was born. It happened in October of 1988 at Enloe Hospital in Chico, California.
My Dad was in the delivery room with my Mom and I was waiting out in the hallway a little ways down from them with family. I remember telling my Gramy (I called my Mom's parents Grandpa and Grandpa and my Dad's parents Grampy and Gramy) that I wanted to be the first person to see her when she came out.
I'm not sure how long we waited there in the hallway, but after what seemed like an eternity my Dad finally emerged from the delivery room with a small bundle of blankets. I remember being really excited while my Dad was walking towards us and when he bent over to show us what was in his arms I was thrilled to see my little baby sister there in the bundle of blankets.

Goodbye, no use leading with our chins, this is where our story ends,Frank Sinatra, I Wish You Love (Off his album It Might As Well Be Swing)
Goodbye, let our hearts call it a day, but before you walk away,
I sincerely want to say.
I wish you bluebirds in the spring, to give your heart a song to sing,
And then a kiss, but more than this, I wish you love.
And in July lemonade to cool you in some leafy glade,
I wish you health, and more than wealth, I wish you love.
My breaking heart and I agree that you and I could never be,
So with my best, my very best, I set you free.
I wish you shelter from the storm, a cozy fire to keep you warm,
Most of all, when snowflakes fall, I wish you love.
[musical interlude]
I wish you shelter from the storm, a cozy fire to keep you warm.
Most of all, when snowflakes fall, hot damn, I wish you love.
All kinds of love, a whole gang of love.
